Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2 in 1981) is an South African actress, model and TV host. Brandt began her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her part as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress's TV credits comprise Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians, and many other. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt grew up within Cape Town South Africa. As she was in her teens, she moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand along with her mother and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career in ads and printed commercials. Before she became a successful model, Brandt was a saleswoman working in retail and an IT recruitment consultant. Her first starring role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character of Leilani Fa'auigaese. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2021 when she played the character of slave girl Naevia in the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In addition, she reprised her character of Naevia for the mini-series that prequels Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as a bounty-hunting demon named Mazikeen in the Netflix successful show Lucifer. It is her largest role to date. The series stars Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside and D. B. Woodside.
