Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox was able to survive on an allowance for students working part-time in order to supplement her earnings. Lennox decided to change her career path when she was dissatisfied with her lack of skill in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career as musician within the band Dragons Playground. The band did not get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 until 1980 she served as the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British pop group. The band was where she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her solo debut album Diva. This was released in 1992. The album received a lot of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprised of four songs composed by Lennox. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a music producer and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva with a number of successful songs such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, that was released in 1995 features the versions of a few of her biggest hits, such as The No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). She has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums. |
